Installing Cockpit Client

Does anyone have a document on how to install the Cockpit client?

Sorry, nothing in written but it's fairly easy.
If you ever installed any app, you will be able to install client.
It comes as exe file for windows or DMG for Mac.
You lunch it and follow installer instructions.
Is there something you are stuck on?

We're running our Cockpit clients with Mac OS and it's different from the Installation in Windows. You need to edit the hosts file for Name Resolution and some other things.

I know that HDM has a Guide for Installation, Configuration and Trobleshooting with Mac OS (70-80 Pages!). Installation under Windows is very simple compared to OS X.

I would say it is equally easy on both Mac and Windows, depending on your level of technical expertise on each system.
Editing of host files is only required if your network setup is with static IP.
You can use DHCP or AD on both Mac and Windows as far as I am aware.
