Can any one help me out between cron, amsky , basys ctcp as i will be giving plates in open market, some say that chinese machine cron and amsky are not so durable as basys, but other say that basys is very high on maintenance, kindly help

If Basys equipped with new generation UV LDs, that means less maintenance 'cause not nessesary to change UV lamps after xxx hours regulary and to re-calibrate.

Sounds good in theory but the LED technology is not yet there. Even the fastest conventional plates still require a hell lot of energy I guess packing some hundreds of LEDs in a machine, cooling them and collecting the output into a single usable beam is no easy task.

Ohhh! I'm so sorry for my mistake - thought of LD (Laser Doide) typed LED (Light Emission Diode).
Will do some cleaning :)

Speaking about careful reading ... I started the confusion from the beginning, you said LD not LED :))

I have seen amsky ctcp and my impression is good. I think it is a reliable, really fast machine-28 pph, but it looks like trendsetter and screen pt-r...There are some difficulties with servicing, because it is not very easy to change a diode- you must remove 4 pcbs and two covers. There is a lot of work. Anyway it will be a great battle between Luescher ctcp and chinese brands.
