our contract is for fixed cpp at $.04 color for life of lease. recently, service company started messing with us (we are between the 12 and 18 month hassle zone), reset the counter and has been charging us 2-7 clicks per print (based on size, coverage, ect). They maintain counter reset was accidental and will be resetting to base calculation on machine odometer. we went from 10,000 clicks to over 200,000 month due to new accounting discrepancy.
furthermore, they say we can maintain low service charges by switching to a $.053 single click charge.
we thought we were under a single click charge until the incident. we listed it as fixed imprint charge on some paperwork to accommodate the click charge is same for any size paper: letter, 11X17, 12X18, gloss, plain, ect.
I know it's only about $100 month difference if we agree to the $.053, but we've had larger bouts for less.
is there a difference between the terms "fixed cpp" and "single click charge"?
