Aside from Metrix, and any planning functionality that is part of an MIS system, is there any other job planning software out there?

Been looking for a couple of months myself.
So far everything's been beyond our budget or not mature enough.

I realize the thread has asked for solutions beyond Metrix, but the overall question remains: What options are available for Job Planning? I'll throw in my 2 cents: Metrix is not only very mature but dead-easy to use, Mac and Win friendly and surprisingly affordable. I spoke with someone at Metamation on Wednesday and I believe he was supposed to email me something but hasn't so far...
