Kao Collins has launched Sigma, a solvent ink for HP 45si thermal inkjet technology. Recognizing that a short decap for solvent inks wasted time & money, the company’s R&D team set out to reduce the wiping and purging of nozzles to speed-up production.
Sigma achieves fast curing without external heat sources and increases decap to at least 4-times that of other inks, drying quickly on plastics.
