Swiss Compliance & Colors Added to Kao Collins’ SIGMA Solvent Ink

Two major developments have been added to Kao Collins’ SIGMA—TIJ ink for HP 45si. First released in 2019, these inks captured the marking & coding industry with its industry-leading, 12-hour decap time, and 24-month shelf life.

The new SIGMA inks are formulated & manufactured in accordance with the "EUPIA" Guideline on Printing Inks applied to the non-contact surface of consumer packaging such as pet foods, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, beverages, etc. Unique Benefits of these new inks include:

• Superior trajectory, volume and velocity.

Reformulated by Kao Collins chemists, the new SIGMA inks meet the requirements specified in Swiss Ordinance Annex 10. Additional color versions of SIGMA have also been developed to support industry needs. Packaged in factory-new HP cartridges, the new inks are now available in several colors, including: original SIGMA black, SIGMA red, SIGMA yellow, SIGMA blue, SIGMA green and SIGMA violet.
