Hello
I was a printing operator on a Heidelberg press, recently I changed work and now I work on a KBA 142 press. There is this feature that I have never seen before, can someone tell me what this one do on the picture I posted, I marked it with the number 1?
Connection inking/damping unit for disengaged damping from roller, so from what I can understand from my colleague, it means when you are washing the rubber blankets that the water keeps going into the rollers?
- Number 2 on the picture, with my previous employer we did a lot of text printing, not so many solids. With my new new employer they print a lot of solids, can I just use this for a better emulsification when printing solids and can I also use this for UV? Or how can I use this best?
- My third and last question, for printing solids the oscillation I always set this one to half of the paper size and change the value if I have stripes in the printing job. If I don’t need to use this, is it better to have it set to 0 or what would be best?
