Kodak Magnus 400 plate loading problem...

Recently our plate setter is forever giving the message "plate or paper stuck" but when you open the front door nothing is there? Has anyone else experienced this and if so whats the work around?

Also, we keep getting a message stating "there is a door open" when there isn't, this problem has been around for years, Kodak said it was a software problem as the door doesn't actually exist but that is also happening all the time now?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Plate or paper stuck usually means that the paper pickup tweezers have made too many attempts to pick up the paper.
Make sure the rubbers on the tweezers are not missing, are in good condition and clean, and the fingers have sufficient spring.

I don’t know about the 400 but on the 800 it was usually the sensor(s) that tell(s) the machine the slip sheet hasn’t ejected properly. Also, you mention opening the ‘front door’ but Kodak says there is no door? That’s a little confusing but if you haven’t already, I’d check any sensors you can find.
