Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4080 / C4070 / C4065

I would recommend the C4080, but not the IC-609 OEM controller. Definitely go for the Fiery alternative.
We didn't really look at any of the inline finishing options.
Whatever you do, test decent quantities of your own jobs on your own substrates to be 100% sure a machine can do what you need it to do.
Pre-set showroom demonstrations are not a substitute for doing this.
Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated
Don't get the TU-510....that a pricey investment for something you'll be getting rid of in 5 years when you upgrade the printer. For perfing sheets, most likely your off-line folder has an option to install a perf wheel. If you want the TU-510 for slitting/cutting/creasing, get a Duplo 618 or similar device that will last 15+ years and not go away with your printer.

Something else to consider...when you have a complicated inline finisher like the TU-510, it will go down occasionally. This will take your whole press down so you can't print until the tech repairs the finisher.

did anyone get the 4080?

we have a vendor trying to win our business -- good timing since the current vendor has been disappointing. The new vendor is recommending the 4080. We currently have Xerox v280 and v180.

I haven’t got the 4080. Has the 3070 but currently running a Versant 80 (old, I know).

Between the 3070 and the Versant 80, I much preferred the Konica.

The main two advantages of the Xerox are SIQA and the cost of the add on modules. For example, when we got a quote for a Xerox Versant 280, the decurler was £1100. The same from Konica was in the region £2300. Same for things such as the pro booklet finisher and square fold trimmer I have for the Xerox, they would have been much more expensive from Konica.

I have been told that the Versant 180/280 are much more stable machines than the Versant 80 but I still think the overall quality of the Konica is much better.
