First off, yes you are able to do this. But We need to know what sort of controller you have, Fiery, or Creo? This is doable under the drivers expert settings as well. There is a tab for black/grey. Which will allow you to adjust when the machine uses CMYK Black vs Pure Black
Alternatively:
There is a list of calibrations you can do via the machine (I am assuming you are using a c6500 or similar), Ask your tech about the expert adjustment settings on the machine.
You will also want to run your calibration (ether through the Fiery, or Creo). PMS colors are tricky at best to get an exact match. (for this I am assuming your running off a Fiery controller) You might also want try changing the color profile that the Konica uses. Sometimes what happens is, say you rip the file from Indesign (or whatever program), it will use a SWOP color profile, where as the konica may use GRACol (or whatever you have these profiles set as) and you basically get your CMYK values converted twice.
Theres always the possibility you might just need a service call as well.
