Lamination Blues !!

I am printing on the DC2060 (oil based) printer. When I try to laminate the prints on my thermal laminator with 35-40microns film at a temp of around 110-120 degrees, the lamination starts to come off from the edges after trimming the sheets. Happens more with the darker color prints.

The oil base of the prints seems to be the problem... should the sheets be treated in some way before laminating ?

There are several things to try:

#1 -- Different laminate. "Super Stick" is one of the go-to laminates for oily sheets
#2 -- Higher temperature roller and/or more pressure
#3 -- Use a rougher paper
#4 -- Wait 24 hrs between printing and lamination. Some of the oil will evaporate; some of it will soak in away from the surface.
