Looking for Prinergy Rip Specs

Corporate is wanting me to change from Esko to Kodak. I just can't seem to find hardware specs on the rip. I was just ordering a new one for the Nexus and want to make sure I can use that for Prinergy.

This is what I was ordering. Any ideas if this will be sufficient.


Dell PowerEdge Gold Server Platform
Dell Dual 2.4Ghz & Microsoft Server
8GB Mem, 5-146GB Drives

Kodak will not let you use your own server.

It's a mixed blessing. On the one hand Kodak knows everything about the box. The downside, not having any real control over configuration. You might be able to get them to trick out the box a bit with more cores, RAM or drives.

Drives and Ram yes. CPU is locked into the current model from Dell they are using. And they don't use the latest and greatest model out. It's usually at least a generation older, maybe two, than the latest.
