Would anyone happen to know the part number for the distribution board on a Magnus 400 or where I can find it?

Hi MattG,

This is the part number for the Power Distribution Board Assy.: 503-00334D. The number is at the bottom RHS of the board. Can not see it without removing the Interlock board Assy.

Thanks Pach for all your help! Another question....do you know where the "Local 3 Board" is? We installed the new distribution board, and it's coming up with and error with that board.

Hi Matt,
If it is a manual plate load M400 than : open the RHS door and drop the metal flap ( 2x thumb screw) and you will see a Metal box upright. Lift back the flap and yo will see 2x allen screws that need undoing. Now open the flap again an ease the metal box ( with the Local board inside it) out from the mother board.
If your M400 has an Autoloader, than there is another Local3 board in there , again behind the RHS paper dissposal door , behind a metal pannel. Good luck.

PACH - It's not recognizing the Local 3 Board. Since we replaced the main distribution board, does the distribution board have to be programmed to recognize the Local 3 Board? When we pull up the Local 3 Board it shows all zeroes.

Do you get any error message when you load the M400 application?

The operation "PutandGet" of Local 3 card is what comes up in the error message.

You did not say if it is a manual plate loading Magnus and also what was the original problem that you had to replace the Distribution Board.

Hi PACH:

It is a manual plate loader and we replaced the distribution board because it shorted out when imaging a plate. The part of the board that blew out was the vacuum pump power circuit. It arc'd against the frame.

Before launching the M400 application, try and run Diagnostics and see what it will show up. In the Lotem400s you were able to download the firmware but I am not sure if you can do it on the Magnus. Maybe yyou can try it. You have to go into the Registry.........Magnus400 .. I/O objects .... Board... Local3. Open it and change Force Download fro 0 to 1. Exit. Shut down and restart with all the doors closed.

For reseting the Local3 board you need a software called Memtool3 which you might already have and also a small jig called the BSL jig.

Where can we find memtool3?

We tried the force download but that didn't work either.

some additional questions - the replacement distribution board was it new from kodak? Did you check the fuses and voltages on it? Are the power supplies good? Do you see any lights on the L3 when you turn the power on? Did you touch the serial connectors at the back of Ebox at any point?
