Does anyone have any experience with this type of printer?

The print speed is astounding, but I was wondering about the reliability of the printer?

Yes. It's for a very specific niche. Quality is fabulous if you keep it clean and aligned. Otherwise, streaking is quite frequent. They say its for viewing from a distance, but at this price point it's a tough sale when the customers sees the maintenance required to keep it streak free. This isn't just the Vortex, but memjet technology in particular.

Agreed. Too much to maintain. We had an envelope printer that used one head and it was a nightmare. Streaking, smudging. Plus cleaning was a nightmare. We ended up going to a Xante laser envelope printer, but not sure if laser is an option for you.
