Metering Roller Wash

Is it possible to use metering roller wash too often? If so, what are the results? It is pretty strong stuff, isn't it?

Your question leads me to ask another. Why are you washing your metering rollers so frequently? The buildup of ink on the metering roller is a sign not all is well with the ink or fountain solution (or both) unless there is a sequencing issue on your press.
