We print laminated web sometimes covering it with varnish, sometimes not. The problem is when it is rolled and formed into cylinders, sometimes we find that there is wet ink. The web is rolled and run through a seaming machine using an RF block. It seams that the RF block can loosen the ink and allow it to smear through the rest of the process. The ink issue is not detected by tape test during printing. The dyne level is acceptable so it certainly appears to be a cure issue, not adhesion.
Any ideas on how we could detect issues similar to this one?
