I'm writing up a questionnaire for a client where he asks about "Minimum Positive Keyline Halfway Grip" but I don't understand what he means (sorry, I'm an alien).
Is it about trapping?
Or what?

...OH, and also:
"Tonework & Proofing: Screen Ruling for Tonework e.g. 150 lpi"
What is "tonework"??

I might be mixing up terms but on the keyline question are they wondering how close to the trimbox can a line or border be where you can guarantee a even margin between the line and the edge of the sheet?

And maybe for tone work they are saying anything not produced as solids? tonework = half-tone work?

I've found something about it in a newly arrived job...
A thin line (0,1mm) on the bound between white and colored areas, made with a 5th spot color.
