Morgana Digifold Purchase

Hi there

Finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase one of these. (Been watching the prices gradually coming down over the last few years).

Very few used ones come up on the market here. (New Zealand). I'm almost certainty going to have to import. (US no good, different electrical ratings, probably Australia or UK)

Probably going to have to purchase one of the early ones (budget constraints).

My question is, other than the LCD screen is there any real differences between the early models and the later ones?

I see the early one don't have a total count, do the later models? (this would be very handy for obvious reasons)

Am I right in thinking this is how the model lineup go's-

First model simply called Digifold and then pro XL and then 5000P.?

Fantastic is someone could point me the direction of the model line up with the specs.

We recently upgraded from a Dupo to a Digifold_5000p, from Chilvers Reprographics
its a amazing bit of kit, even without having a touch screen that later models have.
Saving us 100's + hours a year on folding my hand.

A Baum 714 folder would also work well for you. Probably half the price of Morgana, plenty used ones available. An industry standard reliable workhorse. Easy to maintain etc. Just saying.

Thanks Thomas. yes, I really want a machine that creasers and folds in the same pass. I already have separate machines here for doing these two operations. If I crease on one machine (morgana) and fold on the other (Duplo). I have very mixed results. Usually feeding problems for obvious reasons. thanks Simon
