Moving Heidi Die Cutter

Any suggestions on the rigging protocol for a Heidelberg cylinder die cutter?

We have moved presses before but are unfamilar with this machine we purchased.

Disconnect all wires, you will need two heavy duty toe jacks and two lengths of heavy box section steel about 3"x3", two skates and one steering skate.

Remove the delivery trolley and arm supports.
Jack both sides together don't do one at a time, keep it level, place jacks under delivery Side frames.
Place a steel box bar under and lift each end off the floor just enough to clear drip tray, about 3/4" usually does it.
Jack bed end and support the same way.
Slip the drip tray out now.
Jack bed end again and place onto two skates, place jacks under ends of bed runner castings.
Jack delivery end and place onto one steer skate in middle.
Machine is now mobile, very slowly.

Reinstallation is a reverse of above.

Get her level and wedged at 6 points.

I have found from past experience is that machinery moving is best left to the professionals that do it for a living. Spare yourself (and the equipment) harm and hire a rigger or professional machinery mover.

Just my $.02
