Networked Font Management

I'm looking for a simple Font Manager for use in a small network setting in efforts to eliminate missing typeface issue when editing files on different systems. Software must be compatible with Windows 7 and 8. There are plenty of options to try, however I would appreciate any input or thoughts to narrow it down.

On Windows 7, I have Suitcase, but rarely, if ever, use it. I drop my fonts into the InDesign fonts folder and let it handle that for me. The only time I ever need to use Suitcase is for writing code in PDFLib blocks, or for Illustrator/Photoshop stuff, which I really don't do a lot of. Photoshop is only when clients work their stuff in layers and supply me .psds as final art.

On Mac, I use an old free version of Linotype FEX, but it doesn't play nice with Quark. I only have one client who uses Quark, but I also have Suitcase just in case, and again, never launch it for the same reasons.
