With over 28,000 North American installations of the imagePRESS family of color digital presses since introduction over a decade ago, Canon USA is launching the imagePRESS C10010VP & C9010VP digital color presses. Customers can choose between Canon’s PRISMAsyn Print Server or the Fiery powered Server.
As seen in NAPCO’s recent “Print in the Eye of the Buyer” study—sponsored by Canon—almost half of respondents said they would like to know more about paper and media. Both presses feature enhanced registration and wide-ranging media-handling capabilities. Equipped to support up to 150 lb. Cover (400gsm) paper from any drawer, as well as many types of synthetic media. The C10010VP Series can produce value-added deliverables, including: brochures, luxury business cards, signage and restaurant menus.
The POD Deck Lite XL and enhanced BDT VX-790 long sheet feeder options offer automatic duplex printing and continuous feed of banner stocks up to 30 inches, to create effective posters, signage, marketing collateral, 6-panel brochures and 8-panel gate-folds. There are also inline finishing options for wire bound books, corner stapling, hole punching and stacking.
Both new presses are now available through Canon authorized dealers.
