I am looking at purchasing our first digital printer (have been outsourcing a lot for the past two years) and cant seem to justify the cost of some of the new equipment.
How does the Nexpress 2100 Classic stack up to todays "new" equipment.
To make this debate a bit easier lets not consider service, print speed and pricing. On a maintained nexpress 2100 how is print quality, registration, etc. compared to today's printers?
The only thing I really wish it could do was thicker stocks then 350gsm and I am going to see some printed samples this week. We outsource a lot of offset work and I want the difference from the offset print to the digital prints to be minimal to our customers eye.
