OKI Pro900DP

I recently purchased an OKI Pro900DP envelope press, but it doesn't come with any rip software. I was told I could use Command Workstation to connect with the printer? I've been running a XANTE Illumina with the IQueue software which works great but I don't know if this is compatible. Anybody out there with some help?

According to this brochure for that printer, it does come with an embedded Fiery controller, so yes, you can use it with Command Workstation. If it's not currently working it could be a number of problems. The first two I'd look into are:
  1. Is it properly connected to your network with a static IP address?
  2. If #1 is good, then you may need an older version of Command workstation since this is an older printer. You'll have to check on Fiery's website to check which version is compatible with your controller's version (which is System 8e according to the brochure).
  3. If you keep having trouble with #2, then you can always use a print driver which is found here.

No to the Xanté Illumina IQueue software.
Same hardware EXCEPT for the logic board.
Yes to the Command Workstation.
YMMV.
