Older X-Rite DTP32 Densitometer- Worth it?

Our shop has an older X-Rite densitometer but lacks a power supply and USB converter. Is it worth getting the missing parts for this thing, will it get my output within range of the 4-color process Pantones?

The worst thing - if you lost a calibration target (which you have to replace/refresh every 3 years or less, depends on usage freq)

You probably won't be able to convert a serial DTP32 to USB. We had the same problem, tried a few converters, and EFI finally told us it would not work. I bought a new PC with a serial port and it now works fine.

The DTP32 will keep your output consistent. (I assume you are using a digital printer). However, if you want to build your own profiles, you will need a spectrophotometer.

When I got my DC12 with a Fiery X12 RIP I hooked up my DTP32 that I have from my DC2060 to my laptop with a USB converter and it worked right away.
