As a Technifold USA team member, you'll join us in our mission to support thousands of North America's premier printing companies with our innovative products and services. This is a new position with a solid and growing Inc. 5000 small business in northern NJ.
We are searching for a person who does not mind an entrepreneurial adventure and can adapt to diverse and evolving duties. Position reports directly to our Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Tasks
• Product Preparation and Shipping Operation, assist when needed
• Prepare various machines for shipment according to customer specs and act as final QC inspection prior to shipping
• Refurbish and re-package used devices for resale
• Organize and manage storage of products and equipment in our warehouse
Customer Support Tasks – Technical
• Answer tech support phone calls and emails. We will train you.
• Assist in updating training and education materials.
• Run product samples for prospective clients to assist in closing sales
Customer Support Tasks - Administrative
• Light email and phone follow up to various marketing efforts. This is not a sales position. You just have to be comfortable talking on the phone. We provide scripts or direction as needed.
• Update marketing and product spec sheets
• Manage maintenance of our small office building
This is a full-time 40 hour per week job.
Job candidates subject to drug testing and background check
Requirements:
• Computer knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, internet
• Willing and able to learn new software programs
• HS education minimum or GED. We value the school of hard knocks as much as traditional education.
• MUST be able to work independently
• Must have driver's license
• Occasional heavy lifting required. Must be able to lift 50-60 lb. boxes.
• 3-5 years of part-time or full time work experience
• Mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Attention to detail
• Must be equally at ease in an office setting or a shop environment
Additional Useful Skills that are a Helpful, but Not Required
• Bindery or printing experience is a plus but not required. If you have the aptitude, we will train you as needed to run, demonstrate and repair our machine products. They are not complicated.
• Sales or customer service experience in any industry is a plus.
• Experience working with and/or rebuilding manufacturing machinery is helpful.
