paper questions

So, my question of the day is what type of paper does you use? By this I mean the most common copy paper that you have. We use Domatar Imageprint. 20# 98 brightness, as our common house stock for copies and such. this stuff costs me 8.50 a thousand, which I thought was a good price, till I walked thru staples and saw their paper for about 4.25 a thousand.. Does anyone use this stuff? Is there another option besides what I am using that is cheaper but still good enough for the quick copy market?

Depends on what suppliers can get near you, we run xerox docucolors (240, 250 and a 260) and we use Pro-Digital (silk). Most used are heavyweights (100#C & 80#C) for the lighter stuff its either Pro-Digital 80#B or Mohawk Bright White 28# (LOVE pro-digital paper, LOVE it!)

I have about 12,000 pounds of ProDigital on the floor right now. We run mainly 70#/80# Gloss Book but also stock the silk and the Cover versions of both silk and gloss. Uncoated paper we use Neenah Color Copy.

We run 99% uncoated paper here. My supplier is saying most shops in the area is using the Xerox brand paper. The difference between that and what I am using is the brightness, and about 15 dollars a case. I don't think my customers are coming to me because I am using 98 bright paper.
