So, where could one take advantage of an embedded Rendering Intent? The tools in Acrobat allow you specify a Rendering Intent or use one embedded in the document, but make no reference to a Rendering Intent embedded in an individual object.
If you use the Touchup Object tool and choseo Properties and then the Color panel, you can view & set the rendering intent on each object. Object Inspector will also tell you if a given object has an explicit rendering intent.
And, obviously, the intent is used as part of the rendering process by Acrobat, APPE, and all other Adobe apps.
What more do you want/need?
