PDF presets conflict Photoshop & Acrobat

Yes, this is probably a silly question but please forgive.

In Photoshop you can save PDF presets. I have one such preset that has color management my way with embedding a profile. I see where the .joboptions file is saved
Now when I install Adobe Acrobat Pro, I can now edit this joboptions file by double clicking on it. However, the color management settings are not as they are when edited with Photoshop. For instance, under color management when double clicking, my preset color management shows convert all colors to sRGB and no profile embedding option.

This has me perplexed

JobOptions/Preset files contain two distinct sections - public/common and private/specific. Most of the settings are common to all applications that use them. However, where an application has a different model or extra features from others, those settings go into the private area and you only see them in that/those applications.

Since Photoshop is a SINGLE IMAGE authoring application, while Adobe's other tools (AI, ID, etc.) author rich multi-object content, the idea of "embedding a single profile" doesn't make sense - so it's not shown.
