SUMMARY OF POSITION: In this position you will develop applications, troubleshoot and fix code, primarily in PHP. You will be a key part of a busy team and assist with ensuring that our product continues to be competitive in its features, reliable in its operation, and valuable to our clients. You must demonstrate ability to develop under tight deadlines, while maintaining quality standards. Testing is an important part of producing quality work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Follow professional standards in code development
•Pay careful attention to detail and demonstrate superior ability to test and troubleshoot
•Develop product code
•Assist in weekly meetings
•Assist in executing all customer service objectives and initiatives
•Track, report, and take action on customer service objectives and standards
•Assist in the QA process
•Be available to answer technical calls
•Work with others to problem solve
•Review documentation and internal processes and make recommendations on findings
•Assist in writing, editing product documentation
•Offer suggestions to improve products
•Notify management of issues impacting customer adoption and ROI
SKILL SET QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Programming Languages
•PHP, JavaScript Technologies
•HTML (4, 5), XML, CSS, Apache Operating Systems
•Linux is necessary. Also need experience with Windows and MacOS
Databases
•MySQL, ODBC and other data access protocols
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
•BS/BA or equivalent experience
•Bonus if you know printing industry best-practices and general knowledge
Knowledge/Skills
•Effective communication skills: both oral and written
•Efficient Time Management skills
•Strong project management skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Windows 2000 and higher, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access
•Experience with multiple email and chat programs
Other Requirements
•Work well under stressful conditions
•Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
•General office activities, walking standing sitting, talking on phone, etc.
Location: It is not mandatory to be located in California, will entertain working remotely
