Hello everyone,
I have question regarding on color matching for hardproofs.
I have received client sent physical ink draw down in different type of paper compare to our proofing paper. Ink draw down white paper is L*= 95.23, a*=1.16, b*=-0.74 and our proofing paper is GRACoL certified paper, 95.58, 0.95, -2.49.
(done in Xrite 939, D50/2)
When I measure the Ink draw down for L*a*b* value, should I consider white L*a*b* value for using different paper? or should I just ignore and use measured L*a*b* value?
