Plate baking procedure

I've been looking for information on the correct baking procedure for CTP plates but it seems to be non-existent.
We use specifically AGFA P970 plates and AGFA RC510 baking gum. Agfa's site has no info on baking procedures. Could someone enlighten me as preparation of plates, temps and times.

Thanks

Have you called your local Agfa representative for guidance?
That should be your best resource.

Thanks for your response Steve. Instructions from our suppliers are as follows:

1. Wash gum from plate with water
2. Apply baking gum with sponge
3. Wipe off excess baking gum and bake for 6 minutes at 230-240ËšC
4. Wash plate with water and regum

My concern is the plate is not lasting as long as it should - blinding at 80k. I know metallics and low quality inks will reduce plate life. I'm keen to know what others' experiences are.
