Please Help! Screen Platerite 4300S leaving line at the edge of sheet?

Have had the 4300S for months now and has been working fine. Now it is leaving an exposed line on the plates right where the sheet of paper ends. We are using Xitron Sierra for impositions etc, and Xitron Raster Blaster for outputting to the machine. Xitron is blaming the machine and the machine techs are blaming Xitron. It is frustrating that nobody can give us an answer and solution. The tech has been working on it for 3 days and has not made any progress. Please Help!

3 days spent means you already checked the 1bit tiff file in preview and it's clean. Does the line move on plate if you select a different press sheet size ?
Try other1bit tiff export settings in RB i.e. encoding, byte order, compression algorithm a.s.o.

The tiff looks clean on the preview. No lines anywhere. When we use a larger press sheet size the line is still there. We are not familiar with the export settings on RB but I hope the tech had the sense to do those things. We have been in touch with Xitron and they really have no solution. They suggested we start creating our impositions to plate size instead of sheet size. That sounds like a duct tape solution and we would not really want to do that.

I second that. Not a workaround but common practice for many.
