Hey everyone
I’ve started offering prepress services with a small team — we help printing presses with things like die lines, print file setup, and remote prepress support.


Right now, we work with 3 presses and looking to grow
Any ideas on how to reach more printing presses or get more clients?

There are a bunch of printing Facebook groups. There is a lot of scammers on there, so be sure to present your website and work samples. Videos talking about yourselves and showing you work with screen recordings would be a plus.

do you know how to build a file for fifth color? I tried to train my team at my previous job on how to do that, but they looked at me like deer in headlights, so that's another serivce.

why not just create a database of SMALL shops local to you that might not have prepress in-house, send postcards and emails twice a month on-going. Even go in once in a while to meet them. Then expand online as your local shops use you or don't need you?

another business source is small shops that do large format. They don't seem to know what they're doing
