I've got 40 pages that I need to impose such that they get cut down to two-up and collated and then will cut and stack. I have a 32 page W&B form and also an 8 page 2-up, 4-out W&T.
When I select cut and stack and number the pages for form 1 (32pager) I pair 1 and 17, 3 and 19, 5 and 21 . . . .
When I go to the W&T I pair 1 and 5, and 3 and 7.
Theoretically this should work. It does not. In ApogeeX the run list shows that the some of the pages are appearing on both forms and 5,10,15,20,25,30, and 35 are not placed at all.
Does cut and stack work with multiple impositions of varying page count? i.e. a 32pg plus and additional 8.
Or are you forced to just one form? I've done this before adding the same sig five or six times but this requires a total page count that is divisible evenly by the number of pages out. i.e. 16 page sig would work well with 32, 48 64 . . . total page count.
Thanks for any help.
PS I did a work around using flat work and rearranging my run list. Just wondering why it does not work correctly as a cut and stack.
