Print Book in large size and HQ binding

Does any of you out there know of a digital printer with which I could solve the following problem. I want to produce large-sized, big books, A3+ or square, small editions, 10 to 50, HQ digital printing with a PROPER binding (not just glued)

The Nexpress 2500 et alt. are all good and fine, but I need the next bigger sheet. A2+ or from a roll. Is there anything out there?

What do you mean by a proper binding ?

Books of value are bound with a stitching in the fold. It is much sturdier than glueing and you can open the book completely flat. It also means you need paper the size of the open book (+ a little for cropping etc). The coffeetable book comes in rather large sizes and heft, therefore the paper sheet needs to be A2+ or a roll.

Someone with a Xeikon should be able to print it, and the binding could be done by a traditional book binders.

Oh yeah. !!! It looks some body is looking for me ...

We can make fantastic coffee table books with 17 x 24 inches, open size, with hard case binding, fantastic output, each sheet laminated with a guarantee of print quality for any fading etc.

I am afraid, Baltimore won’t do for me. I live in Berlin, the printer could be anywhere in Germany or the vicinity (i.e. a hop in a plane)

I am getting in touch right now with a printer in Berlin who works with the Xeikon 8000 which, from everything I’ve read about it, should suit me perfectly. But I will keep you in the back of my mind. Who knows.
