Hi guys,
I'm looking to print pvc sheet on KM C1085 and i need to know if there are any setting to change.
I don't want the sheet to melt in fuser unit :(.
I will use pvc sheet that are used on MGI meteor.
Do you think this will work?
Thanks,

slimbh, there is a wide range of synthetics available in the substrate throughput assurance guide that you should have received with your press. However, I don't think PVC is specifically supported...but next to each item will be small numbers which refer to settings/specific instructions at the bottom of the chart. Check that out and maybe see if one of the approved synthetics will work for your client. If you don't recall getting one or have lost it, just ask your specialist or sales rep for one. I do know for synthetics, it's usually recommended to only run 1 sided, and face up. I also make sure to run from the bottom vacuum feed drawer (tray 3) to keep the straightest path. Lastly, you should hang out near your press while it's running, because if there is a jam, the media will melt in the fuser if it sits for more than a few seconds.

Thank you jwheeler for your help. I don't receive any guide for synthetic paper with the press.
I take risk and make a test with pvc sheet made for magi meteor machine. For setting, set 130g offset paper, drop temperature control to the min and set longer time between each sheet. I also deactivate detailing unit.

I try to print 25 sheet on this setting and it work :cool: great

But your right, any jam and material will melt on fuser, this is a potential issue.
