Print Shop Mail

We use Print Shop mail
We have an old version (psm 98 2.4) and a brand new one
We use them on 2 different Computers and the old version seem to print faster.
Does any one know How I can make the new version print faster with good Quality
or would anyone like to sell me there old vision with unlimited Key?

I've been using PrintShop Mail for seven years, starting out with version 4. When I had trouble with the spool speed taking extremely long periods of time, a member of Atlas' US-based support team taught me this trick: print your VDP job from PrintShop Mail as a pdf, then send the "merged" pdf from Acrobat (or whatever your pdf application is) to your printer.

Yes, you will be spooling twice (once from PSM to the pdf, and once from the pdf to the printer), and that doesn't seem logical. But, when faced with a slow-slow-slow print speed, the double spooling is actually faster than spooling from PrintShop Mail to the printer.

Thanks for the advice but my test sample took 15 minutes to make the 950 page pdf
so I did not even try to send it
I also have a 1gig network and I am printing to an I-gen with new computers.
So there should be no slowdown.

A couple of thoughts. First, I'm attaching the Troubleshooting Guide from version 4.1, which I still find to be helpful. It has some advice re slow printing. Next, I would suggest taking a look at the elements in your PSM job. If it uses images or pdfs, one of them may be gumming up your works.
