I'm looking at getting a qs3200. We do alot of banner printing, .020 styrene, and 17.5 trans styrene. Do these print well in sheet form on this machine?

also - any big issues with this machine?

For 010 styrene I have found it works best in roll form.
020 works fine for single sided in sheet form. Don't try double sided edge to edge. You will end up with warping and prints that will pop up under the the carriage. The one thing with these printers is to have a very clean and dry air supply.

We run quite a bit of polystyrene .020 and .030 and static is the biggest issue with it- causing blurred images, text and ink splatters. We have been advised that 40% humidity is ideal but we have been satisfied with the quality at around 25-30%. You would be able to adjust curing to avoid too much warping, and 2-sided runs fine as long as your material is flat and edges are undamaged (we avoid rolls of polystyrene because it tends to hold its curl).
