Im facing an issue trying to figure out what would be the best solution to purge retrieved files.
It seems to be that some files after been archived was retrieved (not copied to a new job) and changes were made to it (maybe just a softproof, etc etc what makes Prinergy sees it as a "different" file(s) and doesnt let me purge (manually) the jobs (because doesnt mach the archived version) around 1.3TB.
Does anybody else have the same issue, and if so, what would be the work around it?
Is there a way to automate (RBA) the purging and/or re-achiving jobs if needed (after they've been archived and retrieved)?!
Even if a rule is created to purge an retrieved job after (x) day(s) we have 3 different volumes that are being used, and I dont see how a rule would and/or could be applied to many volumes "as far as comparison" (over the time we moved to an additional volume after it got full, moving forward to additional ones).
And help and/or comment are more than welcome.
