Quark File Mac or PC

Is there a way to tell if a Quark 8 file has been created on a Mac or PC?
The file is using TrueType fonts available on both platforms.
I looked under Properties but didn't see anything.
Thank you,

I don't have one readily available, but doesn't the Collect Report say that it was saved with Quark for Mac or Quark for PC? If doesn't, does it report a link path as C:/ or MacHD/?

I'll pose this question: if you can't tell what platform it was created on, does it really matter what platform you work with it on?

If i am correct, if you open the pc quark file on a mac it says converting pc document and it also works the other way round...

Although the Collect Report gave the version, it didn't give the platform.

The report does tell us the file started as a Quark 7 PC file. Then, it was saved as a Quark 8. At that point it doesn't give the platform. Opening on a Mac, it didn't say converting.

We're going with Quark 8 on a Mac.

Thank you for the info!
