Ricoh 907 Odor

Recently purchased from IKON a Ricoh 907 which emitted an odor on use. After several attempts to eliminate the odor, a replacement machine was brought in. However the odor continues with the new machine. Anybody else experiencing this?

What kind of odor? Does it smell like melted crayons, if so it the toner being fused onto the sheet.

Not sure what Mexican water smells like, but this odor is certainly not melted crayons. The odor is hard to describe--acrid is what one employee states. Another person said it's like a paper mill. Overall, it's a foul smelling odor.

There is a Ricoh PRO 907 ... but it is a printer in black and white!
