Ricoh c7500 after 8 years of using a xerox versant 2100

We had the 2100 before our 7200 and 7500s. I agree with you. We didn’t realize Xerox had so many issues until we switched to another brand. A competitor is running an Iridesse and their print quality on screens is noticeably worse. The sad part is that the Iridesse is so much more expensive.

white toner is impressive with two passes in a row and the reprinting is quite precise which surprised me.
can you elaborate on this a bit?
white toner with 2 passes ... does this mean you print the whole job once, then reload the same paper and run a 2nd pass?

reprinting is precise ... meaning, after you do 2 white passes, you reload the paper a 3rd time, run all the colors and everything truly lines up?

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking of getting a C7500. We don't do a lot of synthetic, but I wouldn't want to turn away those jobs.
Does the C7500 have controls adjusting transfer voltage, current, etc for a particular media?
Does synthetic brick in yours from static?

We've been using Kelley Create's house brand synthetic on a Xerox Versant 3100 and its been working great with minimal static and almost no press adjustment fussing. Was using Synaps before and it was more challenging.
I live in New Orleans where its humid year round. I use the MGX 12mil Xquisite synthetic and have zero static issues on the 7210.

Ive seen samples off the Xerox iridese where they've passed it through multiple times to create heat raised effect, I was very impressed.

One other impressive thing is that the 7500 can print some media completely full page with full bleed. This only works on weights between 160 and 240gr with formats between postcard and A4+ but it's quite surprising.

Can you please elaborate on how you accomplish this? I was told by someone that my C7200X can do this, but I haven't figured out how.

Our 7500 can bleed on 3 sides. The tech didn't know it did it and seemed like he thought it shouldn't do it.
