Ricoh c900

Just curious and this subject. May have already been discussed on previous forums but I have not been able to locate the answer. We are looking at purchasing a new color machine and am interested in the 900. Have not been able to get a salesman yet so, could anyone give me an idea of what these machines, just the basic without a finisher, price would be. Also click charges?

IKON carries these machines, they cover most major metro areas. You're looking in the $60-75k range (about $1100-1300/month lease) depending on configuration. Click/service depends on if you are fixed or spot color program and will vary by dealer and your usage. Spot pricing is good for <8% coverage, otherwise go with fixed (again, all depends on your toner costs). Fixed will run around $.04-.07 per click and should be good up through 11x17.

if you're looking for a production machine stay away from the C900. The term fast plastic best describes this box. jam after jam with accepted paper. Weekly visits by techs to get it to consistently run as spec'd. Stay away from Ricoh C900 it's not worth their incentives....there is a reason garbage is peddled cheap!!
