Ricoh jp4500???????????

I have a Ricoh JP4500..I downloaded the print controller and installed it on 3 differtent operating systems (xp,7,and vista...all with the correct versions for each system). I tried through both usb connection and serial, this duplicator does not have a network card so those are my only two options. I'm able to place something on the glass, scan then print with no problem, but when i try to print from the computer, it doesn't seem to reach the printer. I hit print then open the print dialog box and it show printing and not (error), it sets their for a few minutes then gives you an error, not sure whats keeping it from reaching the printer. Any help would be great....THANK YOU.
