rip error

Hello print planet,

I have a PlateRite 8600 and using EagleRip 4.5 on a PC that came with the CTP.

I would like to change the PC because its kind of old and over the years has become extremely slow.

I was able to extract the Interface card (25pin) from the old PC and inserted it in my new modern PC. However after installing EagleRip 4.5 on the new PC, the CTP doesnt seem to pick the interpreted pages.

The Error I am getting is in the PHOTO I have attached. kindly advise on where I am getting it wrong.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Hello,

if the PCI slots are the same one, normally should be work. however, if we accept that the card has been installed correctly, only the driver of the card needs to be install. Geneally, we usually get encounter this problem after PC replacement, the driver is not to installed correctly.

Just a question, have you started first the PlateRite and then the .Rip-System?

I did actually.. But when I scrutinized the interface card it has the company name labled called 'Founder Electronics' who happen to be the manufacturers of EagleRip. Could it be that the 62 pin interface card is hardware bound (proprietary bloacked such that it is restricted to work with other computers?

This is system requirements for the Founder IF board.

CPU : Intel (R) i7
Memory : 4G or above
Hard Disk : 200G free space
Display : 1024 x 768 Color
Network : 100MB Ethernet
OS : Windows 7/8/10/Windows 2012
