This describes the basic AM/XM screening dot shapes available:

This describes the basic available FM/Stochastic screening dot shapes:

Most vendors will have at least 4 main AM/XM as well as FM screen choices - their specific implementation of the screens described in the above posts - that will satisfy the needs of 90% of their customer applications.

Gordo is correct and that covers most of the screening. Here is a link to a book on Heidelberg Screening that covers all of our AM, FM and Hybrid technologies. Hope this helps.
