Set trim based on Selection

I have been knocking my head against the wall on this. I want to have an action that selects all objects that are defined as the spot color Die Lines, then set the trim of the page to that selection. I have tried numerous different setting, but nothing has worked.

Here is what I use for just such a problem from one of my customers. You may have to edit it to fit your needs but should point you in the right direction.

remove the art box
set the art box
set the trim box to the size of the art box
remove the art box (you shouldn't have an art AND trim box)

That should take care of it.
