Small run narrow web digital press?

Hi Everyone,

I'm after a bit of help, I work for a self adehisive label company and we're looking at getting our first digital press and i've been given the task of finding the right one!

We're looking at things like the iTech AXXIS Digital Label Printer, degrava dp 8500 and the Primera CX1200.

Has anyone any views on these bits of kit, or know of any other kit like it?
Of the above three the Primera is the one I least like, as it doesnt do variable data.

Any help would be appreciated

One of our narrow web flexo label customers also has a Rapid and a Vivo Touch. They are now getting an Indigo.

The Vivo can apparently do variable data.

Do your homework on these machines and get live demos with your own files, there are many things to factor in and balance in your decision making.

Would definitely discourage anyone from purchasing the AXXIS system. We unfortunately bought and is currently boat anchor material.

Hello,
we use the Indigo WS6000. Love it, and does variable data. Also printing for In Mold Labeling, non-adhesives, and many other things.
