Hello Everyone, My company has an online parts store that can supply parts for many machines. All parts are OEM as I will not offer patent infringement parts on my site. I also have 32 years experience in the print industry as a senior master technician. If I can 't help I will know someone that can.

"I also have 32 years experience in the print industry as a senior master technician"

What specifically does this mean? Did you run a folder, operate a cutter, make dies, or what?

What is a technician to you.??? I guess I should have been more precise in my statement. I started in the industry running presses. I then moved into service and have been servicing Offset Machines for the last 24 years. I have been factory Trained on Miller/Roland machines. Field trained in Europe on Komori and Heidelberg machines through agencies. My specialty is print register troubleshooting and perfecting issues. Is that a little clearer. I have also installed 100's of machines worldwide of all types. I have worked with some of the top engineers throughout the world. I am retired from traveling and now decided to work with the parts side of the industry and consult on print issues.

Rey, do you have a website for your business or other ways that people can contact you if they need assistance or parts?

OOOppps, Sorry about that. Yes my site is : Used-Printing-Press-Parts.com Don't let the name fool you a majority of our parts are new. We do have exchange programs and recondition quite a number of electrical and mech. parts.

Rey, I just had a look. I am guessing that the site is fairly new and the online shopping is not totally sorted out yet.

Just looking at the Komori Lithrone parts pages. It shows 16 pages but so far I can not see how to get to the next page. Stuck at page 1.

Also you have "Delivery bar bushings" at a price of $500.00. I am guessing that is an error.

If these are errors, I hope you sort them out. Good luck.

Yes the site is new and there is a lot of work involved from inventorying everything to pictures to getting it on the site. I appreciate your feedback. As far as your comments: The 1-16 of 16 doesn't refer to pages it refers to items on each page. My komori parts are limited right now. I am in the process of setting up some more suppliers for Komori. The bushings were a mistake it should be $5.00 each. Thanks.

I already gave you some of the many possibilities.

I guess I should have been more precise in my statement.

That's what I was trying to make you realize. The rest of your response is mostly good, until you get to

I have worked with some of the top engineers throughout the world.

There you go back to vague claims again. What do you suppose that is going to mean to the rest of us on this forum? What I am trying to point out is that vagueness does little for your credibility with the rest of us. Think through your communications as well as you do your print register troubleshooting and perfecting issues.

Note that Erik is showing you loop holes in your web page. These things don't exactly enhance the audience's faith in the service you are offering. Test all parts of your web page before putting it up live.

Good luck,

Al

Hello Al, first off I am offering a service for parts replacement alternatives to OEM prices. If people on this forum chose not to purchase so be it. I have sold many parts to people around the globe. My site currently is ranked 15th on Google pretty damn good for a site that is 6 months old. I also have not made any vague claims what so ever. I don't believe that I have to name names of the top tech's I have worked with nor the scale of precise work and troubleshooting that I specialized in. Everything I have ever done has been proven through my work ethic and 100% positive results. Anyone out there can verify anything I have said with many of the dealers/printing companies through out N.America and Europe. Anyone with a bit of hesitation can do there own due diligence on the internet. Precision Graph-Tech Inc. Rey Laferriere. I am not trying to justify my expertise to anyone. All I offered was if people have issues I would see what I could do to help them get answers whether it was through my own advise or through my colleagues. For now I will just sit back and watch to see what kind of responses are being put forward by the senior people on this site and make my own conclusions.

My website although may have some small glitches, has taken many many hours to put together. A website such as this evolves over time and I appreciate the feed back. Do you have a website such as this???? If not then I don't appreciate you telling me how I should do things. Every aspect of the site was tested over and over and obviously there is a few missed price errors. This would have been caught before any purchase would have happened.

Hey Rey - Don't mind Al, he makes a habit of calling anyone out that puts forth an idea he has not thought of. Methinks a semi-retired engineer with nothing better to do than criticize...I could be wrong. Best to all, and a Merry Christmas. Steve

Well, I am not in this industry for the glory never have never will. My credibility is based on my reputation not words in a forum. Glory mongers it's all yours.

Hi Steve,

I have not been called an engineer before. What makes you think that? And what's up with the semiretired bit; I suppose you think I have too much time on my hands, eh?

Merry Christmas to you as well.

Al
