Was wondering what are the differences between the SM-74 and PM-74? Could anyone shed some light on this?

There are many differences but the main ones have to do with automation. A majority of the functions on the PM74 are done manually by the operator. It is difficult to tell what is actually outfitted to the PM74 as there were many options. In general they were supposed to be a stripped down SM74.

it depends on what you pay for. an sm74 has all the bells and whistles. the pm74 can have all the bell and whistles, but the basic machine comes with manual plate clamping, manual ink levers, manual pressure setting, no console. not sure on the blanket washers. a pm can only be 1 to 4 colors I believe. an sm can be 1-12 colors. sm goes 15000iph the pm is only 13000iph
